Welcome to Day 2 of our 5 for 5 Christmas Blog Event. Today our theme is "Religious". We are all sharing a project where we used religious inspiration. Each day our 5 Designers will post a Christmas Inspired Project based on a theme. Some of us are offering prizes, so be sure to visit all the links below and leave comments.

This is my Christmas Angel!! I started with a well weathered extra large square of wood. I drew on my angel, painted her with crackle paint and acrylic and used pens to highlight. The background is just gesso scraped on with a credit card.
I wrote the bible verse on tissue paper and then glued it down with matte medium.

So much to learn from this project. I am normally a card maker but I love the idea of writing the verse on tissue paper.
