And here is my project!! I had the awesome chance to use Clarity Stamps Cockeral and Hen set! These stamps were super easy to use and made awesome crisp images.  The set also comes with masks that I played with!

This project started with a piece of wood board and clear gesso.  I used matt medium to 'glue' down the scrapbook paper to the board!

I found this textured cement finish paint in the clearance section at Target. It was really awesome looking and it is a great filler between the 'wood' panels of the barn!

I covered a brown paper bag with Crackle Paste and painted over it with Cranberry colored chalk paint!

The clarity stamps did a fantastic image on a variety of different scrapbook paper!  I fussy cut the shapes out and used matte medium to attach them to the board!

These are the masks that came with the clarity set.  They are reusable and really created a clear image!

I stamped the eggs on scrapbook paper and painted in the white!

  2. Fabulous weathered barn doors, and I love the whole look of this. It really reminds me of a children's book I grew up with, Rosie's Walk by Pat Hutchins - so it's made me very happy!

  9. I love your whimsical project! The chickens are so fun, and it's great they have a mask that comes with them...I don't like making masks! Your crackle barn door looks so authentic, and your quote is so true! (I grew up on a dairy farm...sad to say no chickens!) Hugs!
